2008 SBRI Scholarship Recipients
On Sunday January 27th, The State Ballet of Rhode Island held its' annual Company Auditions for aspiring young male & female dancers before a panel of judges. Twenty students from all over New England tried out for company positions. Seventeen of the twenty auditioned, were accepted into positions of Junior Apprentice, Apprentice and Company 2 Level.
Following the audition, The State Ballet conducted its' competitive Scholarship tryouts where thirty students presented solo variations, in hope of being awarded a one year tuition scholarship at the prestigious Brae Crest School of Classical Ballet in Lincoln, RI. With a high level of technique and ability, the following students are the award recipients.
