OPEN Casting call For The State Ballet of Rhode Island's 50th Anniversary Performances of Giselle
The State Ballet of RI is looking for 1 or 2 male SUPERNUMERARIES to perform a pantomime role of Prince of Courland, father of Bathilde.
Here is your opportunity to gain experience and build your theatrical resume while performing alongside the artists of SBRI!
What is a SUPERNUMERARY?
- Supernumeraries, aka, "supers," are the extras of the ballet world.
SBRI is looking for 1 or 2 male volunteers, at least 5' 9" in height, to perform a walk-on, non-dancing, unpaid role. Theatre and/or dance experience are helpful, but not required.
Audition Dates & Times:
- Saturday, March 13th 12:30pm-1:30pm
- Saturday, March 20th 12:30-1:30pm

Rehearsal Schedule [starting March 21st]:
- Generally, Fridays 7-9:15pm, and Sundays 12:30-3:30pm [Flexible rehearsal schedule]
- Technical/Dress Rehearsal @ RIC - Thursday, May 13, 2010 @ 3:30pm
Performance Schedule:
- Friday, May 14, 2010 @ 10:00am
- Friday, May 14, 2010 @ 8:00pm
- Saturday, May 15, 2010 @ 2:30pm

Tickets are now available
Performances will be held on May 14th & 15th, 2010, in the Auditorium in Roberts Hall, Rhode Island College, in Providence.
Tickets are available through the R.I. College Box Office. Visa/Mastercard accepted. All seats are reserved.
