Comedy, hilarity and a stage filled with glorious dancing and life-sized dolls. Follow Frantz’ beautiful but jealous betrothed, Swanhilda, as she teaches him a lesson with a mischievous hoax that ends in their touching reconciliation. Come and enjoy SBRI’s traditional full length holiday ballet which through the years has retained all the humor and exciting dancing that placed it among the favorite classic story ballets. Coppélia is a sweet love story first performed in 1870. It is a Rhode Island tradition for the young at heart.
