The SBRI Annual Open Auditions

Herci Marsden, Artistic Director and Choreographer of The State Ballet is holding open auditions for aspiring young male and female dancers. The State Ballet of Rhode Island is a nonprofit, regional, repertory company which was founded in 1960 with a multi-fold purpose of promoting, maintaining and increasing interest in classical ballet.

Audition Fee:

$20.00

Requirements for Company Members:

Minimum of six years dance study
Three years of pointe (female)
Thirteen years old

Requirements for Apprentice Members:

Minimum of three years dance study
One year of Pointe (female)
Ten years old

Professional Division:

Auditions arranged by appointment only
